Web-based medical care cost information

How much will it cost to visit a doctor for a sickness or injury?
Normally, for inpatient or outpatient care at medical care institutions, insured persons and dependent family members pay just 30% of actual costs at the reception desk of the hospital. For this reason, most people are unaware how much medical care actually costs.
Meanwhile, to deepen understanding of the health insurance system and to ensure the sound operation of societies, health insurance societies provide detailed information on medical care costs. In particular, this information is available at any time on our Society website through the Web-based medical care cost information system.

1. Information you can check using Web-based medical care cost information

  • You can check your latest medical care costs for each month. Note that this information is posted at least three months after examination. This is because medical care institutions bill the Society for medical care costs two months after you take an examination.
  • You can total and print costs for a specified institution.
    • ** Printouts of costs from the Web-based system cannot be used as documentation to certify costs. Receipts from the medical care institution are required for this purpose. Keep these receipts in a safe place.
  • You can check for specific medical care cost information by searching by month of the medical care or by patient, benefits, and other information.
